Release Wire Loveland, CO –On November 5th, Adams State University will host the inaugural SLV Hemp Symposium. The event will take place on campus in the Student Union Building.

Adams State University is located in Alamosa, Colorado, in the San Luis Valley. The interest for growing and processing industrial and nutritional hemp has increased significantly over the last 3 years since the crop became legal under Amendment 64 in 2012 and later reinforced with the 2014 Farm Bill signed by President Obama. SLV Hemp Symposium is produced by Colorado Hemp Company and NoCo Hemp Expo and will bring together over 20 organizations for a mini-expo and Let’s Talk Hemp educational conference.

Attendees will get the opportunity to buy, sample and learn about hemp products including apparel, bodycare, hemp extracts, paper, food, plastics, building materials and much more. Featured presenters include Tim Gordon from CBDRx, Ryan Loflin from Rocky Mountain Hemp, Michael Bowman from the National Hemp Association, and Adams State University president Dr. Beverlee McClure.
